KFA Group Buy Update November 2, 2025

Hi Everyone,

Thank you for your patience on pending GBs, we have very few of them left to fulfill. In fact, we might be on the very last one! Here is our latest update on status of various projects that are still pending.

Thank you to all of our wonderful customers at KFA! Here is the latest update on the various Group Buys that are still left on our end. As always, we appreciate your support and patience!

This one is super unfortunate... After all this time and multiple attempts, I'm just being ghosted by the company. They insisted initially when we first got into contact that they already shipped this to our forwarder and even offered to send a tracking number to confirm. But, when I responded to ask for the tracking number, they stopped responding completely.

I have also followed up with our forwarder in China multiple times to confirm that they don't have this shipment from the manufacturer.

Afer all this time and no more responses from the lead vendor/manufacturer, I have no choice but to call this Group Buy another failure. I know the news will be very disappointing to our customers and people who have dealt with these type of Group Buys over and over again. I think this is really the worst part of the keyboard hobby.

I will now work on a plan to help affected customers. It will likely be 100% refund, but issued as in store credits.

As a reminder, vendors are also victims when Group Buys go wrong, if they're only a participating vendor. If they have no control over manufacturing and costs, then when the lead vendor/manufacturer doesn't deliver the product as promised, the vendor is out all the money. This is because the lead vendor/manufacturer will never start producing the product, unless they're paid in whole. I have tried to negotiate deals where we only pay partially, so that we can at least refund our customers some of their cash back if things don't work out, but no manufacturer would accept those terms unless volume was extremely high.

The replacement PCBs from GEON have been received, but we still have not shipped them out yet. I know we're taking too long on this and it's now my priority number one.

We just want to make sure that customers confirm their current shipping addresses with us, because one have a finite quantity. If one PCB ships to an outdated address, then there is nothing we can do for the customer. So, we want to make sure this doesn't happen.

We will be sending out emails very soon to affected users and asking them to confirm their shipping address with us one by one.

Please respond ASAP to help us faciliate this.

KAM Soda Squid

The keycaps are ready to go and have been received by our forwarder. We will be shipping them to our warehouse starting this coming Monday the 3rd.

However, we still don't have the deskmats yet.  It turns out that because we share the same forwarder as Dangkeebs, our portion of the shipment was marked incorrectly and shipped to them. They are apparently on vacation at the moment. As soon as we get in contact, we'll work with them to send our shipment to our warehouse.

Once both the keycaps and deskmats are at our warehouse, we will start fulfilling his final pending Group Buy we have.

We still have not issued the store credits to affected customers yet. Again, we apologize for this and it's 100% our fault for taking so long. But this is coming as soon as we finish with the GEON PCB shipments. It will be our next big priority to tackle.
