Mid-Case Fold Light

A standout feature of the Paper80 is its Mid-case Fold Light, inspired by paper airplanes. To ensure a seamless design, we've crafted a floating light that evenly illuminates the sides and back, avoiding the awkward contrast between the plastic light guide and aluminum. This solution maintains the sleek look while enhancing the overall glow.

Paper Plane Weight

We aimed for the Paper80 design to evoke the seamless elegance of floating clouds. After extensive refinement, our paper airplane logo now features sharp, defined folds with a striking 3D effect that seems to lift off the surface. These meticulous details, though subtle, reflect our commitment to perfecting every aspect of the Paper80.

Paper Plane LED Diffuser

To complement the mid-case fold light, we crafted the paper airplane LED diffuser from light-transmitting material. Instead of lighting the entire shape, we highlighted just the four sharp triangles, preserving the texture and uniqueness of the design. This subtle detail ensures the lines stand out, enhancing the overall aesthetic.

Mounting

Instead of a traditional gasket system, we chose a lock-hole gasket mount to minimize keyboard vibrations. This design balances internal space and support, aiming for a stable feel rather than an overly soft experience. Our goal is to provide precise, perceptible support for an optimal typing feel.

3. The Paper80 coating process involves anodizing and electrophoresis. Due to the
special surface processing properties, minor and unavoidable dust spots may occur, but they will not affect the product use experience and will not be visible from a
normal viewing distance after assembly.

4. Small scratches inside the keyboard case, or dents on the case that are not visible when the keyboard is fully built. These are normal and within our quality acceptance.

5. Since there are so many variations, renders are for display purposes only. The
renders are given to provide an idea to what the final product will look like. The physical product may have some differences. Please also refer to the prototype's photos as reference before purchasing.
